7.30am: Departure From Dublin
We will collect you at 8:30am. Our first stop is straight to the Glendalough monastery. We spend about an hour and a half here, taking a walk or a hike and learning the history of Early Christian Ireland and Glendalough. admire the buildings that are still there.
10.00am: First Stop At Kilmacduagh
Take a scenic drive through the Wicklow Mountains, passing by and stopping for photos at one of Ireland’s largest waterfalls. Drive through an area called the Sally Gap and enjoy a look at the great Guinness Lake.
10.30am: Explore The Burren
Stop at the legendary Johnny Foxes – one of Irelands most famous pubs. As soon as you open the door, the smell of burning turf will welcome you in. Then, enjoy a traditional Irish meal in a gorgeous pub setting with music.
12pm: Visit The Cliffs of Moher
We will Powerscourt House and Gardens.
1.30pm: Drive along the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way (WAW)
Having spent the day enjoying the beauty of Wicklow, we will return towards Dublin.
2pm: Lunch in Doolin
Having spent the day enjoying the beauty of Wicklow, we will return towards Dublin.
4pm: Dessert in Hazel Mountain Chocolate

27 Orchids Grow In The Burren
The Burren is a karst region, meaning it is an exposed limestone landscape about 100 square miles. It is our most bio diverse region having 700 of our 1000 or so flora in Ireland. The Burren is beautiful in its own right. In April and May is orchid season. There are 27 different types of orchids that grow in the Burren. April or May is best time to see the purple orchid. You can see ancient sites such as the 6000 year old Dolme- Pol na Brone. You can also take a walk on the actual Burren itself and gorgeous location where they create skin cremes, soaps and perfumes using only plants that grow in the Burren.
